Secure Grading & Pre-Grading Submission Kit

Protect • Seal • Secure • Submit

This kit is designed to help protect your collectible card while it is being shipped to MI Designs for grading or pre-grading.

Prepare your card

Carefully inspect your card and make sure it is clean, dry, and ready for submission.

Place the card into the provided protective card holder.

Do not use tape, glue, staples, or any other adhesive directly on the card.

Secure the holder

Once the card is properly seated inside the holder:

  • Close the protective holder completely.
  • Apply the provided MI Designs identification seal.
  • Apply the holographic VOID security seal across the designated closure area.

The security seal should bridge the closure so any opening or tampering is visible.

Add the protective sleeve

Place the sealed card holder inside the provided clear protective sleeve.

Close the sleeve and apply the additional MI Designs / holographic VOID security seal as shown in the kit example.

Do not reopen the package after the security seals have been applied.

Secure in holographic pouch

Place the completely sealed card package inside the provided MI Designs holographic submission pouch.

Remove excess air, close the pouch completely, and apply the final security seal over the pouch closure.

Your card is now ready to be packaged for shipment.

FINAL CHECK

Before you ship

  • Card is secured inside the provided holder.
  • Holder is completely closed.
  • Required MI Designs security seals are attached.
  • Card holder is inside the protective outer sleeve.
  • Entire package is inside the holographic submission pouch.
  • Your name and order/submission information are included with the shipment.
  • Pouch is placed inside a sturdy shipping box or padded mailer.
  • Shipment includes tracking.
IMPORTANT

Do not ship the holographic pouch by itself. The pouch is part of the security system and should be placed inside a protective shipping container.

If a security seal is damaged before shipment, do not substitute ordinary tape. Contact MI Designs for instructions.

MI Designs will document the condition of the submission packaging upon receipt. Packages showing evidence of tampering or improper sealing may require additional verification before grading begins.
